Miller Dress - Paper, Hilma Embroidery
Mr. Larkin's AW18 collection draws inspiration from the early 19th century, when Swedish artist Hilma af Klimt (the legit pioneer of abstract 20th century art) and four like-minded women formed the group "De Fem". Together they created a free space which allowed them to pursue art and spiritualism, seeking to understand and communicate the various dimensions of human existence they felt existed. Through seances and mediumistic presences, Hilma af Klimt developed a unique visual language and mode of mystical thought unlike anything previously seen. Her works were meant for the future, her will stating that they be made accessible to the public at least twenty years after her death - she was conviced that their full meaning could not be understood until then. The future is now, and a group of like-minded women have come together to bring you the Hilma embroidered Miller Dress.
